Hey everyone, so I'm trying to dual boot Kali with Windows 7. I know this is more for trouble shooting but I ran into the same problem with Debian 7. The problem is that Linux will not recognize my network card. I have tried updating it and it only messed my PC up more. It was making Windows 7 not operate right as in no network connection, shutting down would hang on either logging off or shutting down, and when I would try to pen the network sharing center up it would freeze.
