Update failing "499 Request has been forbidden by antivirus"

I currently have this version of Kali:

    Linux kali 3.7-trunk-686-pae #1 SMP Debian 3.7.2-0+kali5 i686 GNU/Linux

When I run 'apt-get update && apt-get dist-upgrade', it fails with the following error:

After this operation, 892 MB of additional disk space will be used.
Do you want to continue [Y/n]? y
    Err http://http.kali.org/kali/ kali/main davtest all 1.0-1kali2
499 Request has been forbidden by antivirus
Failed to fetch http://http.kali.org/kali/pool/main/...1kali2_all.deb 499 Request has been forbidden by antivirus
E: Unable to fetch some archives, maybe run apt-get update or try with --fix-missing?

Not sure how to resolve this.

    Thanks

I'm laughing because I just installed Kali 2.0 and ran across the same problem when trying to do an update/upgrade, so I looked up the error here in this forum and found this post from 2 years ago (I question that I posted)

Anyway it turns out it was my AV on the host machine, which is odd I think as I'm running Kali in a VM, but pausing the AV enabled me to run the upgrade/updates.
