Amd64 1.0.4 Not Working With VirtualBox 4.2.16 Guest Editions on Mac OSX 10.7.5
I recently downloaded the amd64 version of Kali 1.0.4. The install went fine and Kali booted up perfectly after. I then tried to install the VirtualBox guest additions following the "Official" Kali tutorial, and everything seemed to go perfectly, until I restarted the box and when it seemed that it should start the graphical interface instead it just gives me a screen with a blinking cursor in the upper left hand part of the window and then the cursor becomes steady: image.png. Is there a way to fix this(I have tried it 3 times now all with the same result)?
