    Alfa AWUSO36H USB card disconnected

    Hi,

I have kali linux on my windows 8 box as dual boot. I buy Alfa AWUSO36H USB card and when I try to run Alfa installation CD with linux drives I got error. So I plug the usb card and it was recognised, so I test some airodump-ng and the card works well, I got handshake very fast.

But, my problem is that in the right upper corner of the screen, where are wifi connections, my Alfa AWUSO36H USB card is disconnected and my laptop manufacturer network card always automatically connect to internet.

How can I turn on the Alfa AWUSO36H USB card so I can connect with that card to internet?

    here is the screenshot

the easiest way is to disable your internal wifi adapter:ifconfig wlan0 down
then network manager "the right upper corner thing " will manage only alfa adapter
