I am attempting to install Kali 1.0.4 i386 on an Asus EEE PC 900 (NOT a 900A, 901, etc.). The image I am using has a valid SHA1 or MD5 and boots and runs fine from USB without issue. Part way through installation onto either the internal 4G or 16G SSD, the installation dies with an error that it is unable to write installation files. I have tried all variations of formatting the both SSDs as free space, preformatted to ext<whatever> etc.
Has anyone got any ideas on another option I should try?
Thanks,
