I have done lots of reading and research trying to get the ATI drivers and AMD APP SDK I need installed on my internal HDD installation of Kali Linux 1.0.5 to no avail.
My goal of course is to be able to use my GPU with pyrit and maybe other GPU tools. I am leaving links to every tutorial and fix I have personally tried below to get this to work. I know I must be doing something wrong somewhere, it is obvious that the "PEBKAC".

No matter what versions of ATI drivers or AMD APP SDK I install pyrit does not see my GPU.
I have successfully installed the newest driver and AMD APP SDK several times and it worked properly for graphics, but I am now on a fresh install with only the default drivers since pyrit never saw my GPU.

I have also tried installing many other older versions of the driver and AMD APP SDK as well, since some of the links talk about SDK 2.8 dropping GPU support and Xserver not working above a certain version (1.2?) with opencl etc. ?!
Nothing I've tried works.

Some of these tutorials even link me back to some older BT5 R3 tutorials instead of a strict Kali tutorial, this confused me as to what versions of ATI drivers and AMD APP SDK I really need to make this work in Kali 1.0.5. since these older tutorials of course called for older versions of ATI drivers and AMD APP SDK or cal++.

All I need is to be pointed in the right direction towards either a newer tutorial that works on Kali 1.0.5 or to a link showing me the right things to install and I can take over from there. I just do not want to break anything by following one of these tutorials below again, so I figured I would ask first.
Any assistance is greatly appreciated.
