Hello everyone

After installing the latest 64 bit Kali distro, i wanted to have better battery life on my laptop , so i installed laptop-mode-tools , as i previously had great results with this tool.
Unfortunatly , when i unplug, then replug the laptop ... i see a nice kernel panic.
I've searched a bit on google and found some links
http://askubuntu.com/questions/32763...top-mode-tools
https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=154625

Unfortunatly, the first post has no answer and the second says it is fixed or will be in a patch, but it is for Arch ...

So i come here to searching for help, for my battery consumption is huge theses days ... !!
Also, before i installed Kali, i had linuxmint 15, and laptop-mode-tools worked perfectly, so it not a hardware problem. I could run memtest if there absolutly no hints but i don't think the cause is from hardware.

Tell me what you need in order to see a little more clearly. I'm no kernel panic expert ^^

Thank you .

Ps: i've posted here but i hesitated with the Kali linux troubleshooting thread ... please do not hesitate to move if you think it should be on the other thread !!
