help me i need your assistant for my wifi card
issue,well am just running Kali Linux on my virtual
mechine oracle VB 4.1.12 which is i think not the
latest one but it work awesome in some ways(ohd all those latest
oracle VB but shows some error while loading
guest OS,ok this is not the issue that i came here
for,i'm running Kali Linux on virtual box & it loads
my pendrive or all external device but my wifi card
doesnot work,i think the card is not an issue coz it shows Atheros AR9271[chipset] in terminal when i
type lsusb,i think it might be some driver issue,so i
look for compat wireless driver & i downloaded the
compat-wireless-2010-05-23.tar.bz2 which i found
on a forum some guys were talking about the same
issue on other card but the thing is my chipset is similar as those were talking about. So i prefered
their method but didnt work out for me.my big
question is where to put that compat driver?on
home or where?i put it on home & open terminal &
typed tar -xvjpf compat-
wireless-2010-05-23.tar.bz2 to extract the file but it show an error, PS do not recomend me apt-get update & all that i
dont have wired connection in my home. I'm really
new to this & i dont know how to compile these
drivers to firmware. M just a beginner & plz help me
with briefly coz i dont even know where to put
those compat drivers. Give me a brief intruction my wlan card is (TP-Link)WTL71N atheros AR9271
