    Canot connect internet cable

    Hello guys, I am new to Kali linux and i have a problem conecting to internet with lan cable.

    My laptop is an asus x75V.

    The command ifconfig outputs:

    Is it a hard drive install or virtual machine?

  3. Try the command ifconfig eth0 up.

    This is common in Debian “squeeze” and later distros. Happens because by default Wired network interfaces are not managed.

    This should solve the problem. Your ethernet interface is down, this command will bring it up.
