Help with ettercap!

hi everyone

i was trying to locate my etter.dns

i tried locate etter.dns
/user/share/ettercap/etter.dns
leafpad /user/share/ettercap/etter.dns

leafpad would open blank . i tried fixing myself and now cannot open ettercap . if anyone could help me would be appreciated

If I remember correctly I had a similar problem. I used leafpad, but unknowingly created the file. I was running ettercap and it would never pull from that file, finally using the "locate" command I found the REAL file in a different directory. Try to look in /etc/ettercap.

i reinstalled kali using 32 instead of 64 and i could find my etter.dns without a problem
