After installing, boot hangs on "waiting for /dev to be fully populated"

Hello Everyone !

I installed latest release of Kali linux on my HP compaq 6820s. Which is a dual boot installation, grub as primary.

After selecting Kali from the grup, it hangs on the "waiting for /dev to be fully populated" status. I tried by removing possible USB devices and boot again..but this waiting will never ends.

Any help will be highly appreciated.

Remove "quiet" from the grub boot command and then you should see what the offending hardware is. Most likely something that's built into the kernel.
