    Issues disabling Noveau driver

    Hi guys,

I'm trying to install nvidia drivers in my live USB Kali Linux to take advantage of the CUDA processing functionality. For that, I am following this tutorial:

However, on the step to disable the Noveau driver, i get this error:

sed: can't read /etc/default/grub: No such file or directory.

I believe this is happening because this is a live USB rather than an actual installation, any suggestions on how to solve this?

Forgot to mention, the Live USB is configured for persistence, as explained in http://docs.kali.org/installation/ka...ve-usb-install

    Many thanks in advance

Unless you have installed GRUB in usb, which I belive you didn't, you have to search the boot loader configuration file and set nvidia driver modeset to 0.

modeset is different than disabling a video driver. Please read the kms modeset.
