Hey guys, I am new to the forums and obviously new to Linux in general. I installed Kali Linux because I currently am in a networking security class. I realized I didn't have as much time outside of class to mess with anything of the sort, so I decided I wanted to install Ubuntu. Here is where things went down hill.

I have a Sony Vaio that only had Kali Linux running on it, I do NOT have a backup of the previous windows 7 or any disc associated (thank you dad). I deleted partitions because I am not the sharpest crayon in the box and thought everything written online must be true. Thus I am stuck with...

GRUB loading.
Welcome to GRUB!

error:file not found.
Entering rescue mode...
grub rescue>

What in the world could I do to fix this? I really would like to install ubuntu but after this I don't see how I could even get to the BIOS if I wanted to.
Thank you guys in advance!
