What is best: Vitural Machine or USB boot?

Hi What is best for a Windows 7 HP Laptop to run Backtrack 5 in? is it Virtual Machine or USB boot?

I'd say it depends on your computer specs ... If you can run smootly trough VM id go for Virtual Machine.

Well i can tell you that i have an i3 2.40 GHz CPU and 8 gb Ram.
But i havent triet VM yet. Maybe you can tell me from the speed of the laptop if it gonna work smootly

It depends on your kind of use. I lazy, so I run it on a VM Workstation and installed it. Therefore I have a fix (and not too small) amount of memory. So I can use it like my main OS.
