I have posted this on another forum and I am not getting any responses yet. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
I am trying to get a Meterpreter session opened on the victim machine. I am using a combination of KALI, SET, and Ettercap GUI on my "attacker" machine and Windows 7 (firewall disabled) as the victim. Both are virtual machines in VirtualBox with bridged adapters. I have edited the DNS spoofing file for Ettercap to include Facebook. I then open SET and proceed to create a site clone as follows.
1 for Social Engineering Attacks
2 Website Attack Vectors
1 Java Attack Applet
2 Site Cloner (tried templates as well)
No to port forwarding
My IP address 192.168.*.*
Enter www.facebook.com to clone
2 Windows Reverse TCP Meterpreter
1 Shikata Ga Nai
Port 4444 (tried 443 as well)
It acts like it runs and displays "GET /HTTP/1.0 - 200" when I navigate to Facebook on the victim. Then I get an error "Code 404 error, message file not found" "POST ajax/bz/ HTTP/1.0" - 404 Message File not found".
Also, When I navigate to Facebook on the victim, it does not look like Facebook, but more like an old GeoCities website and it takes quite awhile to bring up any pages.
