Is one better than the other? Besides the fact that one is a gui application and the other is command line. I have tried using both. For fern, it seems to use a ton of more resources than reaver, but I feel it uses way more than it should. It always causes my computer fans to get extremely loud, but I can run tons of other applications simultaneously with music and virtual machines going and my fans never get louder at all.

Also, for a wifi network I have, fern reports the wifi as using wps, which it is, but reaver does not. I used wash -i mon0 to see all networks that use wps since that is how reaver cracks the wifi, but my network never appeared.
