The cd-rom does not seem to contain a valid 'release' file. >BUG<

"Detect and mount CD-ROM" "The CD-ROM does not seem to contain a valid 'Release' file, or that file could not be read correctly."

Im getting this error when trying to install Kali 1.0.5.

Now, i had kept an old version of Kali 1.0.4, when trying to do the exact same install, either graphic or normal install option, i get no error - could there be an incorrect string not pointing to the CD or USB install source?

This is the same for installing from a CD or USB. Didnt try VMware, but i heard there is the same issue even if you use a virtual client.

Also, if anyone can help me, the normal boot (not graphical install or install option from boot screen) of these releases seems to be very corrupt. I cannot boot, always get some sort of error, looping error or black screen when booting from a CD or USB. is his happening to anyone else?

    Cheers

If you believe this to be a bug, please submit it to http://bugs.kali.org/

And if you could provide as much information as possible and the exact commands/steps your doing.
