UPDATE: in my kali x64 HDD install ""beef authentication"" worked Perfect!!!

......in my kali_64 (virtualbox)..i THINK don't work ...because...(time ago with the graphical test of XCFE && return to GNOME)I've Corrupted something in ""zone"" "/root/directory"....&&...""hostname""
that is my "" Desktop "" is not REALLY a desktop .. I can not move folders, mount a device, etc. ... etc. ... i only have wallpapers!

my vbox-machine has to be redone!!!!
...&& after fresh update/upgrade OF NEW installation of kali1.05x64-VBox...MY problem is solved:

My beef stopped authenticating me after working perfectly and i couldn't figure out why. Turns out I had the notification extension switched on and my smtp server was down. So beef tried to notify me at logon but couldn't connect and threw an invalid logon error. Start beef in a console and check for any ruby errors.
