Not able to install Guest Additions under Virtualbox

I've followed the instructions in

However, it says (on running the VboxLinuxAdditions.run file) that the headers for the currently running kernel are not found. This is incorrect as the install of them worked fine.

I'm running Kali 1.0.5 64 bit as a guest on Virtualbox 4.1.12 with Ubuntu Precise 64 bit as the host.

Solved by installing Virtualbox 4.2.10 from https://launchpad.net/~debfx/+archive/virtualbox and rebooting Ubuntu.
