metasploit no hosts show up after import

i did multiple nmap scans and saved them as xml.
i also did multiple db_nmap scans inside of metasploit but no hosts are added to the db.

i use the latest kali linux, i updated and upgraded kali and msf i have the postgresql and metasploit service running.
db_status shows postegresql connected to msf3

my nmap scans are made with various settings, most commonly i used -sS -sV -T4 -O -A and ip settings etc.
there are definitly lots of hosts found by nmap.

but each time i do db_import it shows me:
    importing 'nmap xml' data
    import: parsing with 'Nokogiri v1.6.0'
    successfully imported /root/scan.xml

so i guess everything went fine

but when i check hosts with the 'hosts' command, the database is completely empty.

when i use db_nmap which should add scan results automatically there are no hosts either.

    what am i missing?

Unfortunately I'm having the same issue here. Did you ever figure it out?
