Installing vmware on kali newbie question.

Hello there i have installed kali on my vmware software, but i have seen post and people installing vmware in their kali. Just wanted to know why do people install vmware on kali ? cheers

If people run Kali on bare metal and not within a virtual machine than maybe they want to create VM's which they can play with or test various things using Kali.

I am trying to install VM porgram to us Windows progs without trying to get wine to work. if any one has advice on what VM prog is best t use in Kali I would appriciate it

Pretty much what sickness said. I use VMware within Kali to pentest against vulnerable machines.
