Thread: Increasing HD space for kali linux side booted with Windows 7?

Question Increasing HD space for kali linux side booted with Windows 7?

At the time of the installation with Kali Linux I only allowed it 70gb out of the 320gb which my windows 7 was using. However I feel like I made a mistake and should of gave kali 50 more gb. Is there any easier way to extend the space of kali without having to wipe data and reinstall waiting for hours? I used a usb to install it side booted by Win7 so I can have the option to jump into any OS. I just want to steal some space from Windows.

Best bet is to boot into a live CD and use gparted to alter the partitions sizes

However, still take a backup of your data.

It was a success. GPart is officially an exclusive piece of partition editor.
