fresh install of old kali 1.0 download?

I am had kali running great on my mbp. I just went and did a great install, but having issues with booting. I am thinking of doing an install of kali 1.0 and after everything is running well, then diet-upgrade to 1.0.6

my issue is... i can't find a copy of kali 1.0 on the net. Can someone point a link out to me?

Ok. I found a copy of 1.0.3.

I have successfully installed kali on mbp and i was able to make the changes to the grub.cfg file as well.

When i restart, i get into grub menu after about 40 seconds and then get this message

Error: cant find command 'true'
Press any key to continue...

It then continues to start to boot up kali and it then freezes at...
Waiting for /dev to be fully populated..._

any advice? Is hd too large for grub?
