Which DE is Kali 1.0.6 using?

Ok, so having come over to Kali from Point Linux with it's MATE DE I notice that the DE in Kali looks very similar. So, is it running GNOME 2 or or GNOME 3 "Classic" because it looks nothing like the GNOME 3 I've seen in Ubuntu/GNOME. Thanks.

I second this, I think it's classic mode but I can't be sure. Also I love the terminal format as well. I wonder if there is a way to copy the DE to another distro.

It's Gnome 3 Classic.
