bluetooth / laptop lid action & other power options

    Hello everyone!

    I am new, be gentle...

So I downloaded and installed kali on my laptop, an Acer TravelMate5730G.

First thing I noticed is that when I close the lid, kali automatically puts the laptop into hibernate, I do not want that. I searched around and found the Power options but there's nothing about the lid AND the options that are there concerning suspend after xx seconds of inactivity do not work.
I searched around some more and found dconf-editor and used that to change the power option for closing the lid. Now it at least does not put it into hibernate, but still "suspend" and all the options there concerning suspend after xx seconds of inactivity also do not work.
    What to do?

Second thing is I noticed that bluetooth is activated by default when starting kali. I do not want that and also I thought it was supposed to be turned off? Silent OS until user wants it and such?
    How to change?

    Thank you for any help

Install gnome-tweak-tool. Look for the app in the menu. It is as Advanced Options or advance settings.

Saerch the options, there is one with "Lid" and set it up as desired.

    Luck.
