My last two changes were encrypting my host HDD using TrueCrypt(kali running inside VMware) and also I installed Terminator on Kali( I logged into recovery mode and did: apt-get remove terminator - without any luck still).
I have so many changes and configurations that I am really not going to be too happy having to reinstall, so if anyone has any ideas, please do let me know! Is there some place I can look for log files maybe that can help me figure out why I am not able to login to the desktop?
