[Help] Kali-Linux install on MacBook Pro Retina Mid 2012

    Good evening (here at least),

I was thinking where to ask this question and then i realized what better place than the official forums.
I do apologize for making my first thread here a cry for help, but im kinda stuck.
Ok lets get to the point.

I'm trying to install kali on my above mentioned MBPr mid2012 model, the install it self is not an issue,i used efiboot to triple boot kali with windows and macos, and it all goes swimmingly, the issue is starting it up.. first of all when it boots the letters are soooo small that i need a microscope to read it (lol), but when i do enter startx i get an error :
Screen Found -- but no usable configuration present
(i get that same thing with backtrack 5 as well)

So what is the problem here? Is there a workaround?
    Any help is greatly appreciated!!
    Thank you in advance

Had the same problem after trying to setup the nvidia drivers. Try renaming the /etc/X11/xorg.conf file to something else and reboot.
