Download speed sluggish?! 56k??

Ok so someone suggested that I may have downloaded the wrong bit iso file. I'm now trying to D/L the 32-bit Kali Linux iso and it's only downloading 54k a sec???

I did an internet speedtest and it shows my computer's download speed at 22mb a sec.
Any suggestions??!

Side note: If I click the torrent link, it opens a box with a bunch of asci codes.

You may wish to change your mirror:

To fix it, you may wish to use a different mirror to download from:
* http://cdimage.kali.org/ <--- this will detected the closest one based on your GeoIP.
* However, if you want to specify which one to use, you can see the list here: http://http.kali.org/README.mirrorlist
** In the URL rather than it ending "/kali/README" replace it with "/kali-images/"

...else use torrents.

For torrents to work, you will need a torrent client.
There are various guides already out there, on how to setup a torrent client.

I attempted to download the file again this morning with no changes and this time it did 1.5 mb a sec. Weird. But I still have the same graphics problem.

There was a change from 54k to 1.5mb. If we put it in percentage, wow, it increased in more than 25 times faster. That is an HUGE difference.

Graphic problems?..What kind?..Would you be more specific, please?

Download uTorrent (That's my favorite at least) and use a torrent to download the iso image, don't use the ISO option. And you should be downloading 1.0.6
