I am struggling to get my VM client (Kali as Downloaded from Kali.org) to configure itself to have more CPUs.
I have configured 4 CPUs but once loaded I run lscpu and find 1 CPU with 1 thread. And it shows 4 CPUs in the
VM settings processors tab and in the vmx config file. How can I fix this?
I tried to create my own VM and only copy over the vmdk files and it did the same. Is it a setting on Kali itself?
