Hi all!
I have Kali running as the main OS on an IBM T60 but I've been considering buying a few bits of Cisco gear to make a test lab with the view to do the CCNA course. None of my machines have a serial port to connect to the Cisco devices which I know isn't a problem when using a serial to USB converter but I quite fancy using my Kali machine to program the devices since I use my Kali machine to test my home network. My question to you guys is this:
If I was to buy an IBM T60 dock with a serial port, would Kali detect the new dock and the new I/O ports? I'm guessing it would but I didn't want to spend £40 or so on a dock which would be a waste of money
