    vmlinuz missing on root folder

    Hello everyone .. for some stupid reason i deleted the vmlinuz file in root folder , i know that i cannot boot anymore

    i have tried to restore frome trash but doesnt appear , i been tried copying from another linux os in USB media , but nothings work

    Can somebody help me with this , i was so stupid .. i hope there is a solution

    my pc with troubleshooting is still on and running Kali .. i will not reboot or poweroff until i have fixed it

    Well .. i solved this myself

    If you erase vmlinuz from "/" (root folder)

    SOLUTION:

    1-Dont reboot
    2-Download Vmlinuz file that i have upload from here: http://www.mediafire.com/download/0y...3naxroa/vm.rar
    3-Move the mv.rar to "/" ... How? :
    4- being root : mv /home/user/Downloads/vm.rar /
    5- cd ..
    6- cd ..
    7- unrar x vm.rar


    FOR DUMMIES :-)

    NOTE: You have to install unrar first ... apt-get install unrar
