    Installing firmware? rtl8105e-1.fw & rtl8192cfw.bin

    Hey all,

during my installation of Kali I got the message that I miss some firmware.
The files are rtl8105e-1.fw and rtl8192cfw.bin. I have those files saved in my root folder now, but how do I install them?
I have also the complete pack firmware-nonfree_0.36+wheezy.1.tar.gz.
    This is my iwconfig:

    root@kali:~# iwconfig
    eth0 no wireless extensions.

    lo no wireless extensions.

My wireless card does not get detected.
I never used Linux before, but I really want to learn how to use it.

    Thanx in advance.

    Hi, Y4kuzie

l would suggest you use a USB Flash Drive during installation with the firmware on the USB you can either put in
the root directory of your USB, or make a folder on USB here an example: firmware/rtl8105e-1.fw or rtl8192cfw.bin

Why don't you use the eth0 (Use ethernet cable) and after installation you install the wifi firmware from repos or USB?
