    Run Kali from USB on surface pro 2 windows 8.1

    I installed Kali on a USB drive and can boot it on my Win 7 desktop. On my surface pro 2 windows 8.1 I can not get it to boot from the USB. I have added the /efi/boot folder and bootfx64.efi. I also disabled secure boot mode. What am I missing or doing wrong? Thanks for any help.

    make sure grub.cfg is in /EFI/Boot and not grub.txt
