Kali Linux not working on VMware workstation 9.0.

    Hi all,

I'm having issues in running kali linux on my vmware workstation 9.0.
Clicking power on i get an error message as below.

"Guest operating system 'debian7' is not supported.

Select a guest operating system from the General page on the Options tab of Virtual Machine Settings.
    "
    .

I have may other other Linux OS intalled and Mac OS also run fine on my VMW.

Any help how to fix this please.

    Thank You,
    Regards.

Did you download the kali linux ISO or the pre made VM?

The pre-made VM was designed for VMware workstation 10.
