Just at the title says, mysql-server hangs at installation! I'm using a raspberry pi with Kali installed on a 8GB memory card. I have set the system to use all of the memory card so I know I have plenty of space. I'm trying to set up kippo as a honey pot to toy with on my home network but just getting nowhere with it. I'm following a few different tutorials on it. One of which uses the exact same set up as what I have (I brought the kit like for like in the tutorial).
When I went to install mysql-server I got as far as setting up a password but when it got to the part where Kali sets up the server it just hung. I left it going for a few hours, came back only to find it in the same state. As you can imagine I'm going bananas!! The main tut I am following is:

Any one have any ideas? Indeed if anyone has any real world experience of setting up a honeypot on a pi I'd love to hear about it. Perhaps you used another honey pot like dionaea - how did it fair on a pi?

Thanks guys!
