So I'm about 8 hours into trying to figure this out...

I've managed to install Android SDK / Emulator
-Get the emulator to run (Have a little window with the VM Android machine)
-Run SET and go through prompts for SMS spoofing... Input phone # etc etc...

I've gotten it to spoof a SMS to the emulator but not an actual phone... I've read numerous how-to's ranging from "It's easy" to "It can't be done".

My question is... Can I send a simple SMS text message with a number of my choice to a phone number that's in use by a REAL phone, not a VM on my computer. And do it with Linux for free

Do I need to configure the emulator a certain way?

-- I'm running Kali Linux fresh install with updates / upgrades. I'm also on a 64 bit computer if that makes a difference.
