    Wine and libc6 problem

    Hi guys,
I like kali distro very much, but I have a few problems with it.
I found tutorial online how to use repoistory in kali. And it wroks, but I thnik that caused problem with wine and libc6.
    When I try to
    apt-get install wine1.7
    it prints out:

Some packages could not be installed. This may mean that you have
requested an impossible situation or if you are using the unstable
distribution that some required packages have not yet been created
or been moved out of Incoming.
The following information may help to resolve the situation:

The following packages have unmet dependencies:
    wine1.7 : Depends: libc6 (>= 2.17) but 2.13-38+deb7u1 is to be installed
Depends: wine1.7-amd64 (= 1:1.7.18-0ubuntu1~saucy1) but it is not going to be installed
    Depends: wine1.7-i386 (= 1:1.7.18-0ubuntu1~saucy1)
Recommends: gnome-exe-thumbnailer but it is not installable or
kde-runtime but it is not going to be installed
Recommends: ttf-mscorefonts-installer but it is not going to be installed
Recommends: fonts-horai-umefont but it is not going to be installed
Recommends: fonts-unfonts-core but it is not going to be installed
Recommends: ttf-wqy-microhei but it is not going to be installed
Recommends: winbind but it is not going to be installed
Recommends: winetricks but it is not going to be installed
E: Unable to correct problems, you have held broken packages.

Is there any way I can update libc6, or do something else?
    Thanks.

Could you paste the output of '/etc/apt/sources.list'?

Well, I found some tutorial how to make add-apt-repository work... I'm not an expert, so, I followed turtorial and then came to this.
I'm able to add repositories just like in any other linux, but I can't install wine, Libre Office etc.. Beacause of low libc6 version..

You have altered the about with the repos (which isn't recommended. See here or here).

You have (and/or the 'new' repos) have also tried to install software meant/designed for ubuntu, when Kali is based on Debian. Yes, Ubuntu is also based on Debian, but this doesn't mean "everything" that works on Ubuntu will work on Debian/Kali.

From the looks of it, its turned into a bit of a mess. Its hard to say what damage has been done to OS.
Best bet (and good chance the quickest solution), backup & reinstall.

    Okay, thank you for response.
Anyway, I was planning to do reinstall, so I guess that will do.
