I was running kali and was viewing a web page in chrome. I was unable to view the page in chrome (video on the page was in html5 format). Also I have chrome set to ask me about running flash.
I opened IceWeasel for the first time, got a prompt about import or not, chose not to import and loaded the address in the address bar, using the paste and go.
Got a prompt to install flash (which I don't want), hit the x to close that window and the system locked up. Tried restarting the pc, now getting msg "Oh no! Something has gone wrong. A problem has occurred and the system can't recover. Please contact a system administrator".
I have no clue as to what I did wrong.
I tried to load normally using grub and also using recovery mode, but nothing works.
How can I get it going again?
