    Macbook Pro 15 Retina (Late 2013) - wifi problem

    Hi i am using live USB of Kali Linux 1.0.7 with persistence. I cant make my wireless card working. When i boot up Kali there is no wireless connection avalible. It's Broadcom BCM4360. I followed this http://samiux.blogspot.sk/2014/02/ho...k-air-mid.html - its for Air but the wireless card is same. It enabled wireless connection. I can see my wifi router but when i try to connect, type in password and hit connect, it is connecting - (in top left corner it says - Configuring wireless network connection 'Router name') but it wont connect and in 15 second it shows password auth dialog agani. And it is doing that again and again. I tried connect to another router, or my opened android access point. Airmon-ng can see wlan0 , but i cant start mon0 interface. (it says - wl - [phy0]mon0: ERROR while getting interface flags: No such device
    )

    Thanks for help.

    You have to install http://ftp.wa.co.za/pub/ubuntu/ubunt....0.1_amd64.deb to make your WiFi working.

    There was a patch for the BCM4352, the small brother of BCM4360.

    According to this: http://www.broadcom.com/docs/linux_s...30.223.248.txt

    HOW TO USE MONITOR MODE
    -----------------------
    To enable monitor mode:
    $ echo 1 > /proc/brcm_monitor0 => Creates a 'prism0' network interface for use by Wireshark and others.
    $ ifconfig prism0 up => Enable the interface

    Sadly, 'echo 1 > /proc/brcm_monitor0' does not seem to work, and for now, only this Russian thread could help. https://www.linux.org.ru/forum/general/10950378

    Same issue here, using this command
    either like echo 1 | sudo tee /proc/brcm_monitor0 or whatever, I keep getting message: /proc/brcm_monitor: No such file or directory

    On the russian site, at the far bottom they mention a deb package. Not sure if thats the link HLFH is referring to, but it broke my wifi ;-)

    I find that I can't write copy move anything to /proc/... (latest Kali distro)
