    Size of encrypted persistence partition

    Hello all,

I recently set up Kali with an encrypted persistence partition. When I did, I set size to 25gb and parted created a partition that was that size.

When I boot into Kali from that USB stick, it's giving me a 2.0gb partition. Looking at gparted shows a LUKS partition that's 2.0gb and another partition that's 23gb.

    Did I do something wrong?

    Thanks.

tl;dr: LUKS partition is only 2.0gb when told to make 25gb?

Hey guys, so I figured out what I was doing wrong. When using parted I was trying to make the partition start at 5 gigs so I wouldn't get the "this partition is misaligned" error thing. When I was creating the luks partition on sdc2, it was picking up sdc2 as the unallocated partition between kali and the new partition I just made with parted.

So it's all good, feel free to delete this post mods, if you want. Sorry for the derp!
