    Unknown Display

I go into the "Display" icon to change the resolution of my display.

I am currently stuck on 3200 x 1800 (which makes it almost impossible to read anything)

Well It says I have a unknow display and will not give me any other resolution options.

I am currenty using my intel graphics card I believe, since my nvidea isnt being detected by kali

I hahve tried many things I hahve read other places, like using xrandr but that will not work either.....

    ************************************************** ************************************************** ************************************************** ***********
    root@kali:~# xrandr --newmode "1920x1080_60.00" 172.80 1920 2040 2248 2576 1080 1081 1084 1118 -HSync +Vsync
xrandr: Failed to get size of gamma for output default
X Error of failed request: BadName (named color or font does not exist)
Major opcode of failed request: 149 (RANDR)
Minor opcode of failed request: 16 (RRCreateMode)
Serial number of failed request: 19
Current serial number in output stream: 19

    Any suggestions???

    This is killing me.

    Thanks
