    Kali Linux Live on MacBookPro

    hi everybody,
i've created a usb bootable with kali-linux for mac, it works but i have not the possibility to start it in live mode, it just says me "install"
i want to try it before install, i do not want to make a dual boot right now
    what is the problem?
    thanks

How did you make the USB bootable?
Which ISO did you use as the source?

You can find the kali-dev ISO link (that has EFI support) at the following URL: https://bugs.kali.org/view.php?id=680
This is a Kali-Linux support forum - not general IT/infosec help.

i made the usb in the way shown in that thread

    https://forums.kali.org/showthread.p...ive-USB-on-MAC

and i used the iso "kali-linux-1.0.7-amd64-mini.iso"

i'll check your link, actually the boot works but i have not the possibility to try kali without installing

I have tried with the kali-linux-1.0.7-i386-mini.iso on my old notebook and i have the same problem:
I can choose "install, andvanced option, help, install with speech synthesis" and looking in advanced option i have "expert install, rescue mode, automated install"
