Can't login into Live USB

Hi.

I am really upset. I bought a new USB drive and was hoping I could use it for a live USB of Kali.
I'm on a Mac. I used Mac Linux USB Loader to make a bootable USB.

I have the 32-bit version of Kali on the USB now, and it boots perfectly. I get to the login screen - root/toor doesn't work.
blank/blank doesn't work either. Nothing works. I've googled and googled and everyone says to use the password you used in the install, but this is a Live USB. No install, root/toor must work, but it doesn't.

What do I do? I've tried the 64-bit version, I downloaded everything off the torrent, there are no file issues, everything is clean and boots up perfectly.

I don't want that. I want a portable Live USB as it should work just fine. Live DVD works well.

I have just installed Kali 1.0.7 64 bit onto a USB flash drive (16gb) and it works fine on my Macbook Air. The user/pass was root/toor, so I don't know why it didn't work for you?

I actually installed it onto the flash drive by running a live iso version and then clicking "install kali" which took up 10gb. Maybe you should try that?
