KVM kali black screen after installation

Hello

I have Centos 6.5, host machine, and i'm using kvm as virtualization enviroment.
I installed kali linux 1/0/7 as guest machie, everything went perfect until restart after complite installation.

Grub bootloader loading fine, but after that there is strange colors blinking and black screen. And desktop not shows up.

I don't know if this is a problem with display, i see Model: vga, ram 9mb. I have intel hd 3000 video card.

I only can get to single user mode.
There i checked /etc/initab
i chnage init to 3 and then to 5 but no luck.
Orginaly there was init 2.

Please help

Sounds like the same issue in a thread I just found while searching for a similar problem: https://forums.kali.org/showthread.p...-Linux-Qemu-VM.

The solution for me was to use a different video card in the KVM settings. Changing it to QXL worked for me, but run through them all if that doesn't work. Make sure you do a full stop on the VM and then start it again instead of just doing a reset or the video card settings won't actually change.

hey blackronin when u experince the issue does the screen show the mouse and if so is the mouse able to move?
