Got an error code (2) during apt-get dist-upgrade

This is my first time to install Kali Linux under VMware Player.

After doing the basic installation of Debian 7 64-bit after installing the VMware Player version 6.0.2 build-1744117, I tried to do the Kali Linux 'apt-get update' and 'apt-get dist-upgrade', I got an error code (2).

The VM setting is as follow:
Processors = 2
Hard Disk (SCSI) = 100G
Memory = 2G
Monitor = 1

"No space left on device" might indicate that you didn't correctly setup the HDD size or partitioning.
