Hi,
I am new to Kali and successfully installed in on Virtualbox virtual machine. I noticed that every time I add a file on the Desktop, when I turn off the virtualmachine and open it again later, the files that I added on the Desktop are not there! Is this normal? Is there something about saving files on Kali on in virtual machine mode that I should be aware of? Also when I download files from iceweasel it says it they should be on my desktop but they aren't.
