well, a friend brought over a monitor (24 inch) so i dug up an old laptop (that has a broken mouse ribbon) and hooked it up, i got the mouse to move using the the number pad but it is incredibly slow.....does anyone have any input on this??? i've tried xset commands all ending in failure. please let me know if anyone has any knowledge with this.....
