Hello,
I am trying for some months now to install Ubuntu Linux to my lenovo that came with free DOS.
The specifications are the following:
Processor: i5-4200M (2.5 Ghz)
Graphics Card : Ati 2gb
Memory: 4gb
Hd: 1T
The problem seems to be with switcable graphics. I got 'system running in low graphics'.
I followed some advices of some forums(reinstalling the open source driver for ati-fglrx) but nothing happened. After a lot of try I managed to solve this problem(I don t remember how though)
But other than that the system didn t seem to work correctly..Bluetooth bugs and booting time of around 1 minute drive me nuts..So I just uninstalled the os and looking for a better solution.
I have just tested the kali live cd (I can t login as root and the time to get to the gui was too much..)
Should I try to install it..?
I would also, like to ask you if there is a compatible linux distro(kali would be great) for my laptop or at least how to fix the problems I mentioned.
