Install with VMWare: Menu entry for 802.11 tools missing

    Hello there,

after completing a couple of regular installations of Kali, today I tried my first on a Oracle VM VirtualBox.

The install works fine and also the apt-get distro update is ok. However during the initial install, the setup checks for available wireless controller (none at that time), and therefore under

Menu > Kali Linux > wireless attacks

the complete section for 802.11 tools is missing. Now after later adding an USB wlan adapter ("Catched" to the VM), I would love to also get the "full" menu of Kali. Any advice on how to do that would be greatly appreciated.

Could you try installing the 'wireless meta' package?
    Code:
    apt-get install kali-linux-wireless
