Usb mouse is not properly working

I am using Kali 64 bit 1.0.7

I have R.A.T 3 mouse and when ever i try to click in a window i have to press the profile changer
button on my mouse in order to work, i have found the same bug on another linux forum but the
fix they suggested there modifying the xorg file doesn't work on kali

Try going to right top corner and click root then system settings. Then select mouse
